Since 2004, LCY has systematically conducted a GHG inventory and obtained third-party verification according to ISO 14064-1 at its facilities in Taiwan. This allows us to track emissions from each site and consistently pursue carbon reduction, eco-efficiency, and low-carbon initiatives.

Due to the type and characteristics of the products we offer at LCY, our GHG emissions are primarily indirect emissions (Scope 2), which account for 80% of our total emissions, rather than direct emissions (Scope 1), which are more common in traditional petrochemical industries. Our eco-efficiency practices and carbon reduction efforts focused on energy conservation, and steam reduction, have yielded excellent results.
