Since 2004, LCY has systematically conducted a GHG inventory and obtained third-party verification according to ISO 14064-1 at its facilities in Taiwan. This allows us to track emissions from each site and consistently pursue carbon reduction and low-carbon initiatives.

Due to the type and characteristics of the products we offer at LCY, our GHG emissions are primarily indirect emissions (Scope 2), which account for 80% of our total emissions, rather than direct emissions (Scope 1), which are more common in traditional petrochemical industries. Our carbon reduction efforts are primarily focused on energy conservation and steam reduction, and have yielded excellent results.
