The LCY Education Foundation focuses on developing professionals in materials science and chemistry innovation. While assisting survivors of the Kaohsiung gas explosion, the LCY Volunteer Team identified gaps in the support covered by general public donations. To address these unmet needs, this foundation was established to provide targeted financial assistance for advanced education (Master’s degrees and above), vocational training, and competition entry fees. In the spirit of paying it forward, beneficiaries give back to society by volunteering at other charitable or social organizations. This creates a virtuous cycle of care, empowering those who have received support to pass on this kindness and contribute to others in need.
