A- and A Ratings in Climate Change and Water Underscore Global ESG Leadership
TAIPEI, Mar. 25, 2026 — LCY Chemical Corp. (hereinafter “LCY”) today announced it has received an A Leadership rating for Supplier Engagement in the latest CDP (Carbon Disclosure Project) assessment, achieving this recognition for the second consecutive year. The assessment covers LCY’s global operations and highlights its consistent governance framework and institutionalized management system.
“As the global transition to net zero accelerates, sustainability governance is no longer limited to internal operations, but extends to the entire value chain,” said Joey Lin, Senior Vice President of LCY Group Service Center.
“At LCY, we have worked closely with our partners to advance climate action and low-carbon transformation through structured management and open disclosure. This recognition reflects the maturity of our governance and risk management systems, as well as the progress we have made together with our partners in building stronger climate capabilities,” added Lin.
In addition to maintaining an A Leadership rating in Supplier Engagement, LCY also delivered significant progress across the environmental categories. The company achieved an A- rating in Climate Change and an A rating in Water Security, bringing all three CDP categories to the Leadership level.
Guided by a comprehensive strategic framework and institutionalized management practices, LCY has extended its sustainability initiatives from internal operations to the entire supply chain. Furthermore, the company is building an integrated climate and resource management framework by simultaneously advancing operational decarbonization and supply chain collaboration. Using 2021 as its baseline year, LCY has set targets to reduce emissions by 42% by 2030 and achieve net-zero emissions by 2050. As of 2024, LCY’s steady, measurable progress in emissions reduction demonstrates a successful shift from operational-level initiatives to value-chain-wide net-zero governance.
LCY continues to strengthen its climate governance through greenhouse gas (GHG) management, environmental disclosure, and supply chain engagement. In GHG management, LCY has established an ISO 14064-1:2018-certified inventory system while cutting emissions through process optimization, heat integration, and energy-efficient equipment upgrades. Meanwhile, LCY aligns its disclosures with the GRI, SASB, and TCFD frameworks, and regularly publishes third-party-verified ESG reports to enhance transparency and comparability of ESG metrics. In supply chain management, LCY employs a supplier segmentation framework while advancing its 6R sustainability strategy and integrating ISCC Plus-certified materials. The company also enables supplier carbon management capability to reduce the overall carbon footprint and mitigate environmental risks across the value chain.
LCY continues to earn recognition from leading international and local ESG assessments. For the second consecutive year, the company has been awarded a Platinum rating in the MVGX Carbon Neutrality Rating, placing among the top 10% of evaluated companies. Locally, LCY’s overall A rating in the Taiwan Corporate Credit Risk Index (TCRI) ESG Bureau assessment also underscores the strength of its governance.
These recognitions highlight LCY’s competitiveness in global climate governance while reinforcing its leading ESG management and disclosure practices within Taiwan’s regulatory and financial framework. Looking ahead, LCY remains committed to working with suppliers, customers, and partners to build a resilient, low-carbon value chain. By leveraging ongoing innovations in electronic materials, advanced materials, and biotechnology, LCY aims to deliver scalable, replicable solutions that empower industries to achieve a sustainable future.
