As an R&D substitute serviceman for nearly two years, I take pride in being a part of the R&D center, contributing to product development. Working here has surpassed my expectations of a traditional industry. I've been able to engage in a variety of projects. I also enjoy the open discussions, the collaboration between disciplines, and feeling inspired by new projects.

I feel the constant progress at LCY. The company has a forward-thinking approach concerning policy and is committed to nurturing the next generation of talent. There are ample opportunities to learn and get involved. In our R&D roles, we are not limited to technological development. Instead, we are encouraged to learn and identify future market opportunities, which is fascinating! I look forward to growing with the company and using my knowledge to bring practical products to market.

How time flies! It's been a year and a half since I joined LCY, and looking back, choosing to do my R&D substitute military service here has proven to be one of the best decisions I've ever made. From the beginning, the company provided extensive training and hands-on support from trainers, which made it easy to quickly integrate into the work environment and company culture. The exceptional work environment at LCY has allowed me to leverage my acquired expertise and collaborate with colleagues from different disciplines. This collaboration occurs through open discussions and brainstorming sessions to effectively address project challenges. In addition, the company regularly invites experts and academics to the factory to share their insights and offers seminars and workshops for continuous learning. External training, combined with a commitment to learning, has significantly enhanced our competence and R&D capabilities. For those looking for a fulfilling life and the opportunity to fully utilize their skills, LCY is the right choice!

After two months on the job, I feel fortunate to have decided to enter the traditional chemical industry. With a decade of chemical engineering training from undergraduate to PhD, it's incredibly fulfilling to be able to apply all that training at LCY, which is in stark contrast to many of my peers who have ventured into the high-tech electronics industry and essentially startied from scratch.

In just two short months, I've applied my thermodynamics expertise to industrial applications and gained a comprehensive understanding of various related process and property simulation tools. I have taken advantage of LCY's development in statistics and accelerated R&D efficiency while integrating existing skills, developing new tools, and honing my communication and collaboration skills. The most significant change from academia is the immersion in chemical processes. Every effort has the potential to contribute to the production of high-value, environmentally friendly products. While there is much more to learn in the future, I'm confident that we will embark on new ventures and chapters together with my colleagues.
